Chantal's 2Crafty Creations for April... :)

Hello everyone!  I am so excited to be able to share my layouts using 2Crafty's awesome variety of chipboard here with you today!

The first layout I'd like to share is called "Flutter"...

I've made my own background using different colours of Dylusions Ink Spray and I've cut out lots of butterfly images and used 2Crafty's Anthea's Butterflies, coloured with black paint pen, scattered across my page.

My favourite 2Crafty Chipboard piece at the moment, the Polaroid Frame has been lightly painted with gesso and adhered onto the photograph on an angle.  I've layered a Chicken Wire Panel underneath the photo there too (also lightly painted with gesso).

The next layout I'd like to share with you is a little more subdued in colour, but makes up for this with texture.  It's called "Glitz & Glam"...

I have used the largest frame from the nested frame pack of Postage Stamp Frames, covered with modelling paste - nice and thick. :)  This measures almost 12" x 12" and has been adhered directly to the base cardstock.

I have used five other sorts of smaller frames too, all covered with modelling paste, and all filled with lots of lovely metal goodies - little trinkets and stuff, which was super fun to do... a bit like a puzzle!

The frames on the top right are Tiny Funky and Zany, and three on the left are Photo Slide, Small Postage Stamp and the stunning Ornate Window Frame...

And now for my final layout, which you may of perhaps already seen on my blog, where I am well and truly back to my bright and bold ways; "Crazzzy Hair Day"...

I've used a recent sketch at Skissedilla for this one, for which I've since been featured for!  Yay! :)  I've followed the sketch by replacing the grid-like rectangular placement of four photos with four chipboard frames, underneath my main large photo.  I have used the following 2Crafty chipboard frames;

1. Oval and rectangular scalloped frames from the Funky Frames pack.
2. Postage stamp frame from the Small Postage Stamp Set.
3. A film strip frame from the Individual Film Strips pack.
4. A Polaroid Frame from the Polaroid Frames pack.
5. A Film Slide (cut in half on an angle so it looks like I've used two) from the Film Slides 8 pack.

The frames have been painted with white texture paste, then doodled around with black paint pens.

For my title I have used 2Crafty's "Today" title and simply snipped off the "to" to make "day".  This has been painted in gesso and once dried, I've doodled on the letters with paint pens.  I've also adhered cardstock underneath the "holes" of the "d" and "a", then popped the title up with some foam squares.

Underneath this title I've used "Bella Flourish".  This has been cut in half to extend all the way off the left side of the page.  This has been painted with a mixture of acrylic paints and dylusions ink.

I hope you have enjoyed my 2Crafty creations for April!

Have an awesome day!

Cheers,
Chantal :D
