Embracing Nature's Pink and White Velvet..

Hi there, my name is Heather Jacob.
Firstly I am so honoured to be here as a guest designer at 2Crafty showcasing the beautiful chipboard.
Thanks so much Vanessa and Di for inviting me.
I feel blessed that my darling husband Baden is incredibly supportive and interested in my art/hobby and my beautiful family all feature in my works.
To me this craft is the perfect combination of art, photography, beautiful paper, and glorious words.
I especially love to choose some elements, cast a spell and see what happens, to create a dream and follow it through. Subtle shadows, light and color are all ingredients for casting the spell. I am in harmony with my garden and its inhabitants, connecting with the beauty that surrounds me. For me it is all-consuming, inspiring and a natural expression of my inner self, which I love to weave into my works.
I am inspired by color and texture :
I love to play with stitching, chipboard, journaling, muslin, fabrics, metal elements, inking,
 masking and texture paste.
Getting messy with paint, experimenting and playing with paper ignites my creativity
and connects me with my inner child.
Warm hugz from  me x

' Delight '

I adore my garden and I delight in seeing  pink and white velvet blooms
growing with great joy and abundance .
Green and pink are such beautiful complimentary colors and to me
they unlock the energy to the magic of nature..

The decorative border Ariels Spray The brad adds some bling and also attaches the chipboard to my page.

I tucked the end section of the chippie into the stacked hearts
creating a union of elements .

My approach to this layout .
Chipboard is just perfect for cutting sections and placing them on your work .
I trimmed one piece of the  Parisian Border and placed it on the top of my photo,
alongside a diecut. (Pictured above)
I used  Versa color ink to add color to both pieces of chipboard .
I wanted the beautiful Ariels Spray to feature strongly  on my page, therefore I used a bright green ink to showcase the exquisite  flowing shape of this piece.
In my opinion it compliments the photo perfectly..

Thanks so much for popping by and I hope you are inspired to have a play with these divine chippies.
Hugz from Heather x
