Kelly's January Projects ~ And a "Goodbye"

Hi everyone! Kelly here to share some projects, one last time. I want to take this opportunity to say, one more time, a big "thank you" to Vanessa, Di, and all of the 2Crafty team and followers of this blog, for all of the inspiration, encouragement, and fun!!!
Anyway - I have a few pages to share, so I'll get right to it!

"Blankie Love"

Here is my first page, I just had to create this to document my little one's attachment to her treasured blankie...she just loves that thing!!

All over this page, I have used cut up pieces from the Heart Garden piece. I cut the strips of hearts into single pieces and tucked them in here and there throughout my page. They first were primed with gesso, then the hearts were painted with a combination of yellow acrylic paint, and Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Sun Sisters. Some of them were then doodled on, or adorned with gems or pearls, and some of the hearts rimmed with white Liquid Pearls.

I used the Love - Script title, and simply painted it with three different colors of Glimmer Mist, to just have a pastel/shimmer finish to it. To make it stand out from the page a bit more, I traced an outline around it with pen.

I created all sorts of textures on this page, using wire, pearls, lace, doilies, and of course lots of
Green Tara flowers, as well. Once the page was complete I misted all over with various shades of Glimmer Mist, to give the page a beautiful shimmer.

"Love"

This page features my other beautiful girlie, Lilah.

First up, I used the beautiful Frame Maria's piece, to ground my title. I used a grey acrylic paint dabber to dab randomly on this piece, and also dabbed some gesso here and there. Then I misted with multiple colors to match my page. Finally, I rubbed on some Inka Gold for a beautiful shimmer. I adorned the circular part of the piece with pearls, as well.

Throughout the page I used the Whispy Flowers, which were also dabbed with the same grey paint dabber, then rubbed on with the Inka Gold. More gems and pearls on the flowers, too. Some of the flowers were cut in half and you can see them tucked in here and there throughout my page.

Lastly, I used leftover bits of the Fencing Wire Panel tucked in around the border of my page for some wonderful texture. These pieces were treated the same as the flowers.

"Dreams"

Last up, this is a page I did as design team work for Flying Unicorn, and also for a challenge on the 13arts blog, to use stars and glitter on your project.

I used a few of the Stars, which I brushed with Liquid Pearsl, and then wrapped with thread in a messy fashion. One of the stars was also sprayed with a blue mist, and adorned with a pearl piece..(I do that a lot, I guess!) Above you can also see I used the word "Dreams" from the Friendship Mini Word Pack, I just love these little words, perfect for a small title. I cut apart the Corner Flower Vines piece, covered it with glitter, and placed bits of it throughout my page, as well.

Well, that is all from me..thank you so much for stopping by today!!
