The Most Wonderful Day of the Year - Fiona

Hello everyone
How quickly has December come around this year? I'm not even close to being ready for Christmas but to get into the spirit I have created some layouts using some older Christmas photos - don't we all have plenty still to scrap?
My first layout features one of the brand new 2Crafty pieces from the latest release. I loved this Christmas Scene Frame the second I saw it. Lots of different altering on this. Firstly I applied white crackle paint to the frame to give it some texture, then I started on all the details.

The tree I have mixed some flowersoft together with some distress ink the applied this to the tree. I then added some bling for baubles and some gold stars, before adding more inked flowersoft to give lots of dimension.
The presents and branch have been coloured with copic markers and then I added some gold stickles to the presents and the star on top.
To top right corner of the frame I have inked the holly leaves, then applied some crackle paint and then some distress ink on top before it was completely dry to create mottly leaves, the berries I have used red stickles. The baubles I have used some gold metalic paint and red ink, then added some more glitter - red stickles bows and gold stickles trim. The ornaments are hanging with some christmas twine - red and white with a glittery green through it.

Then I have used the Merry Christmas title, cut it and painted it white before sprinkling very liberally with white glitter.  I have then randomly added white glitter around the frame.
My next layout is also a Christmassy one. This was Lily's first Christmas. She wasn't overly happy with the hat...
I have used the new & fantastic I believe in Santa title and have simply used some gold spray paint - super easy way to get a nice mat gold finish:

I have also used the spray paint on one of my frame scallop circle borders. This cute little tree is a part of the Christmas Assortment set. You get 9 assorted Christmas pieces in this set!! I have inked the tree, then defined the shadows with copic marker, added some red pearls and of course a glittery star (can you tell I love glitter with Christmas?).

I have used a second frame scallop circle border and inked this red then lightly added some red stickles around it. The mini Christmas baubles have also been spray painted and I have added a couple of red pearls to give them a litte added colour and tie them in to the rest of the layout.
I decided to make my final share a non Christmas page. This one is of my son who recently turned 7.

How cute are these tiny funky frames I have used to highlight the number 7 on the patterned paper? I have inked the frame and used some dimensional magic so it is nice and glossy. The cute little pointing finger sign I have very lightly inked with some pinecone ink and used a marvy marker to highlight the engraved word today.

Finally I have used some stars and cute cogs to embellish the page. I have simply used the patterned paper to cover the stars and then inked them in pinecone. The cogs have been inked in pinecone then given some crackle paint to finish off. I have then layered them on top of each other. Nice and easy way to match the colours in your layout.
