"Cool Kid" by Di Garling

Hello there 2 Crafty fans. I hope you have all had a great week & got lots of scrapping done. I certainly did. Today I want to share this boy layout with you. I have been doing so many girlie pages  of late & one of my customers in my shop (I own Di's Scrapbooks at The Entrance NSW for those of you that didn't know),  said to me last week that I hadn't been doing  as many boy pages  as I usually do, so I stepped up to her challenge & I have actually done three this week. I will share the others soon. I love these strong colours on boy pages. I have used the 2 Crafty word "Cool Kids" & I just cut the "S" off kids, too easy. I am forever cutting my chipboard words up to accomodate whatever layout I happen to be working on. Thats one of the great things about chip you can pretty much do anything with it. After painting my word red I simply gave it a coat of "Crackle Accents" to grunge it up a bit. I just love texture!!
The other 2 Crafty product  I used on my layout were  these fabulous "Individual Film Strips". These come in a pack of four. I have simply painted them black & backed them with red card to make them stand out a bit. My photos weren't the correct size to fit in them perfectly so I have just slipped the pics  in on an angle. I think this works well.
Well thats all for today, thanks for stopping by & I hope I have given you a little inspiration for those boy pages. Until next time.    Cheers Di  xoxo
