Always and Forever - Anthea

Hi there blog readers
Its getting hard to believe another week and month have flown by
where on earth is this year going??

I have been lucky enough to sneak a little time in the scrap room and had a play with some new designs

I am totally loving these Iron Gates I have so many ideas for them and this was only one
I am picturing them on an OTP project too!!

So here is my layout, I felt these gates really suited this photo of my partner and I out front of 'Far Far Away' at Universal Studios in Singapore last year =)

I wanted to give the chipboard a worn rusted look,
since I didn't have any crackle medium I decided to go with a new technique,
well new for me anyway LOL

I gave the chipboard a thick coating of white paint and then sprinkled on some embossing powder, I then set to it with my heat gun.
By giving it a little extra heat it allowed the paint and embossing powder to get all bubbly and leaving the chipboard with this rusted effect.
To highlight little areas I rubbed over the top of this with some pinecone ink.

For this title I sprayed the chipboard with a coffee brown Glimmer Mist and then while it was still wet I sprayed over the top with a White Chalkboard Mist to dull the colour down a little.
