ChinaTown Singapore - Anthea

I am loving these new releases!! some of these are perfect for my holiday photos, these Chinese Lanterns are no different and can be used for many themed layouts, you can check out how Tammy used them in THIS post.
Here I have used a different technique to change the feel of the layout.

I have first covered the chipboard using some inks, I went for a lighter colour in the middle then used darker colours around the edges.
I then wanted to add a more oriental lit up feel to the lanterns so I drizzled on a little Dimensional Magic around the outside edges and then sprinkled on a little pink glitter and let it dry

I love how it turned out.

Now don't forget you only have a couple more days to enter our Colour Challenge, head on over to THIS post to find out what the colour combo is. You could end up winning yourself a pack of 2 Crafty Chippies!!

Also if your in the Sydney area and would are interested in coming to a class taught by myself then I have a date for you =) I will be teaching for 2 Crafty at All About Scrapbooks.

The class will be held on October 9th at 10am

Here is a sneak of the class
In this class we will learn how to add dimension and tone to chipboard. The girls will add texture to their chipboard pieces and a bit of bling to help their layout to shine. There will be a little bit of fussy cutting to help show of the gorgeous patterns in the patterned papers which will help to compliment the chipboard pieces. We will then tie it all together with a bit of layering, a little twine and gorgeous vintage buttons.
Cost of this class is $38 and includes class fee and kit.

To find out more info or to book in give the shop a ring on 02 9553 0633
