"Fun Times"
By Charmane Sharp

Hello 2Crafty chipboard fans,
Charmane with you today sharing my lavender and white layout,
with highlights of blue. I chose quite a few chipboard pieces
in this layout to reflect the beach, match the floral accents and frame
my photo. Perfect day out on the boat Island hopping.

2Crafty chipboard used...

Sammi's Swirls
Breanna's Swirls
Fishing net bits
Anchors
Cherry Blossom
Frame Edith's
fun times-title

I cut the fishing net bits to the required size and heat embossed
them White so they stood out being tucked under the flowers.

The Cherry Blossom chipboard is such a pretty branch that I chose
to cut into small pieces to add more floral detail to my layout. I also heat embossed
creating a delicate look combining white and lavender embossing powders.
I painted the Breanna's Swirl with a mottled effect and cut to add
gorgeous swirl pieces poking out from the flowers.

A light coat of Gesso reveals the wonderful details of the Anchor,
and I finished it with some Brushed Iron Wax on the edges for a worn metal look.
Sammi's Swirl was given the mottled look also but in blue which helps
to distinguish it from the Cherry Blossom cluster.

I gave the frame a transition look by painting blue and lavender colours to coordinate with
my layout. The title was heat embossed in three colours with the base being a glitter
embossing powder to draw the eye.

All the chipboard pieces have their own unique look but the colours
tie them all together. They all provide distinctive elements to give the feeling of
 a peaceful day at sea.

A close up to see all the various chipboard used in my layout
I've shared with you today. Hope you take the time to create with some
2Crafty chipboard today.

Until next time...

Thanks,
