August Inspiration + PHOTO TUTORIAL with Noura Pompilla

Hello 2crafty friends !!

Noura here today to share  two projects with you for August. The first is a page
in a shabby and sweet style and I  have a photo tutorial, hope you like it

"Precious Girl"

Step 1: Use Monochromes shades of sofiero de Maja design as a base and for the background use lindy's gang sprays, cotton candy pink and cockbells coral,  a touch of gelato and randomly spread out some stamps.

Step 2: I chose Circle dot frame for the frame of my photo but also I first applied  white crakle paste but since it didn't combine the way I wanted it to with the color, I painted it in a cream color

Step3: Afterwards I took some Mini Flourish Bits and the Leafy Shrub set 2 for my project,
I love them because they're so beautiful and perfect when it comes to flowers , I painted
them both with cattail copper brown from Lindy's and I added 3d gloss gel and micro
beads to give it some extra texture.

Step4: I took the word Precious from the Fine word set 2,  I've fallen in love with this set of words because they're very thin and delicate but also elegant at the same time, you can use them when you don't have a lot of space to put a big title, but also they're flexible and resistant  and you can tell because at the end  I put them in a circular fashion over my layout and I painted them with inka gold but since I wasn't too fond of the result and since I actually wanted more brightness, I added gold foil

Step5:  I organized all the elements on my page and I decided to put more green micro beads on top of the Mini Flourish bits and the Leafy Shrub set 2

Some details

As you can see the micro beads give an extra texture to
Leafy Shrub set 2 and  to Mini Flourish bits.

Canvas"Timeless"

For this canvas I was inspired by one of my favorite songs form Indila's Love Story,
She's a French-Algerian singer who evokes from me a kind of retro vintage feeling.

Some details...

I took Clock Face frames, the biggest one, and I put it around the photo, I painted it with
black gesso and a touch of inka gold and Cattail Copper Brown and again I used the
Fine word set 2 for the title, I love putting titles vertically, and then I painted it in a cream color.

Finally I decorated some of the sides with a Grid panel to which I applied some white
embossing powder so that it would stand out over the fuchsia and purple colors in the background.

I made this canvas for Lindy's and More than Words Challenge

That's it from me today until next month.
