November Layouts/Tutorial by Sandra Bernard

''Pretty as a Picture''

In my country, Canada, the snow often begins early,
November is perfect to be inspired by this.
2crafty chipboard Used :
Ornate snowflakes
Stellar snowflakes
''Pretty as a picture'' as title

I used a 12x12 chipboard for my background. I used gesso and other medium to get those
colors and textures near to snow. All the snowflakes chipboards on the background were
glued on it and received the same treatment than the surface.

I also used the frame of my snowflakes kit as stencil with a mist to get more
 snowflakes on my background.

The snowflakes near to my picture were painted with dazzlers from Shimmerz paint

I used the treatment as my snowflakes near to my picture to paint the title, but to get
more textures, I used a medium call ''Snowflakes''. It's a artificial snow to add to our craft.

''The Key''/Tutorial
I decided for my tutorial  to play with my chipboards on a canvas.
A wonderful way of layering several pieces together.

2crafty chipboard  used:
Frame Francesca's Journal frames
Modern swirls
Leafy Shrub set 1
Circle Frames
Vintage keys

I start to add some canvas on my background to add some textures.
Then, I paint all the surface with gesso.

I  also assed gesso on all my chipboard pieces except the key,
which I added some minc paint to add foil later.

I added some embossing Bridal powder to two of my pieces, modeling paste on two others
and green embossing powder to and another one.

I just glued my pieces on my canvas.

I played with shinny powder, modeling paste and matt paint from13@rts,
to add some colors and depth.

I also used watercolor pens to add black shadow.

''Hello''/for CSI

Here,s my layout as guest dt for CSI for 2crafty Chipboard.
I used a collection from 7dots studio to create4 it.

2crafty chipboards  used:
Hello as title
6'' messy squares frames
Squeleton leaves

To respect the sketch I used some pictures of my daughters bunny. It's so cute.

I added some red paint on the messy squares and after, I stamped on it to add more textures.

I kept the leaves natural but I also added some stamps.

I had to add a gold embellishments, so I painted gold my metal leaves to put with skeleton leaves.

To finish, I inked my Hello title.

I hope you like my three creations this month...see you in December...
