"Sweet Treats"
Sweet Treats Scrapbook Page Tracee Provis 2Crafty Chipboard 01

Hi there 2Crafty fans, thanks for stopping by the blog.

Before we get started..

The more comments you leave, the more chances to win.

Today I have a couple of layouts to share with you, for my layouts this month have used very
little patterned paper and just let the chipboard pieces do the talking. I printed out these pics
of my granddaughter a while back for a project life spread but didn't use them, I used the
negative piece from the "Polaroid Frame Set" to create a project life style look to my page.

I used some mist on my title piece but it soaked into the chipboard a little too much for my liking,
so I added some Ranger Crackle Accents to give some texture and shine. For the "Lattice Leaves"
I gave a coat of gesso then applied 2 different green watercolour pencils by Prima. A simple coat
of white acrylic paint was added to the today circle from the "Word Circles" set 1. I covered the hearts in some cork and used a fine pen to outline the edges.

For the Polaroid frame I used the new Bo Bunny crackle primer and crackle paste, I mounted
the whole thing on a piece of journal paper. I used the same Crackle glaze on the
"ATC Butterflies" and they formed these feathery cracks which I think looks great.

"Live Everyday"

While I had my watercolour pencils out for the last page I thought I would use them to create a background for this page. I drew a rough circle with the pencil then applied some water with
a brush to make a water colour effect, I did this with 3 different colours and then splattered a
little of each around the page.

I used sparkly embossing powder on the Live part of my title and the "Diannes Doily piece".
I was determined to use a few different mixed media items on this page and I got out my
Mica powders for the rest of the title.

I added a few acrylic flowers that have been in my stash forever, once again I used the
mica powders on the leaves and they have a super shimmer to them.

to try with your chippies. See you next month.
