By Di Garling

"Christmas Elf"

Hi there everyone, thanks for stopping by. If like me, you have aquired
lots & lots of Christmas pics, I have got a couple of layouts to inspire
you to scrap them !!!

Before we get started though,
Please remember to become a blog follower & leave a blog comment to

2Crafty Chipboard Used...
Tiny Hearts & Stars Multi Pack
Christmas Holly Flourish
Christmas Elves
(changed to Christmas Elf)
2015 Dates Multi Pack
Tiny Henri Frame

This first layout, features my gorgeous baby grandson along with
both my hubby & myself, taken on Christmas day. The bubba looked soooo
cute in his little elf suit. :)

I have used one of the hundreds of great titles that 2Crafty have in their range.
This title actually said "Christmas Elves" & I asked Vanessa would she change
it for me to say "Christmas Elf". 2Crafty do custom orders like this all the time.

The "Christmas Elf -title", the "2015" date, & the "Tiny ATC Stars"
were all given a coat of gesso & then simply coloured using a purple mica powder.

The "Christmas Holly Flourish" & the "Tiny Henri's Frame" were both given a
coat of gesso, then I coated them in Gel Medium & sprinkled them with
glitter. When dry I brushed on some green mica powder to colour them.
I thought this gave them a very festive look.

As you can see I have cut the flourish into three pieces to use in
various places on my layout. Good value.

This gorgeous Santa was actually on a gift bag & I couldn't
resist cutting him out to use on my layout. :)

"Father & Daughter Moment"

My second layout features my eldest son & my grandaughter.
I was sooo happy how these pics turned out.

2Crafty Chipboard Used...
Father & Daughter Moment-title
Christmas Polaroid Frames
Fine Snowflakes
Tiny ATC Hearts & Stars Multi Pack

The "Father & Daughter - title" & the "Mini ATC Stars" were simply painted with
red acrylic paint & when dry I added a little  Stickles glitter to add a festive feel.

The "Christmas Polaroid Frames" were also painted with red acrylic paint.
When dry I used a small brush & some gold metallic paint to paint the little words.

I have used gold embossing sparkly powder to heat emboss some "Fine Snowflakes"
which I have used to layer underneath the polaroid frames & to add a little sparkle.

I have finished off by adding some gold micro beads around the layout
to add to the festive feel.

Well that all for today, see you back here next month.
