July Inspiration ...Four Layouts to Share
PLUS a VIDEO
By Di Garling

"Live Everyday With Intention"

Hi there 2Crafty fans. Thanks for stopping by.
Today I have two layouts to share with you, starting off with this one where
I have used some of the NEW RELEASE chippies. Pop over to our WEBSITE
& check them out !!! So many yummy things.

  2Crafty Products Used...
Title - Live Everyday With Intention
Climbing Rose Bush Border
Bird Set
Mini Branches

I have based this layout on the current colour challenge over at the
Lindys Stamp Gang Blog.

For my title & "Rose Border" I have  simply inked them with black ink.
The  "LIVE" word on this title was firstly given a lick of gesso
followed by some Lindys Luscious Lime Spray that I painted on with a brush.

As you can see I have cut the "Climbing Rose Bush Border" into a
few pieces so that I could scatter it around my layout.

Here I have also used one of these little birds from th new "Bird Set".
I have gone with a very bright mixed media background which I think
makes a good backdrop for these chippie "Rose" pieces.

Lastly I have used another NEW chippie piece.
The "Mini Branches Set" which I treated the same as the LIVE word.

"Enjoy"

Now for my second layout. I do love this simple colour scheme.

2Crafty Chipboard Used...
Mini Word Set #1
Doodled Corners
Funky Heart Set
Retro Stems

Once again I have opted to just ink most of  my chipboard black.
It doesn't get much simpler than this, BUT,  I think it really
makes the chippie pieces just POP against the background.

I have used one of the "Funky Hearts" at the right of my flowers
after applying glue to it & then sprinkling it with glitter.

You may notice how I have cut one of "Doodled Corners" in half
so that I could arrange it in this way. Just because it starts life
as a corner doesn't mean it has to remain that way !!!
That is the beauty of chipboard.

Another of my favourite pieces are these "Mini Words".
2Crafty make quite a few different sets of these.
Make sure you check them out.

In this pic you can see the "Retro Stems" poking out from behind
my flower cluster. I had firstly given them a coat of gesso followed
by some pink Distress Ink.

More Mini Words.

I have also done a couple of other layouts over the past couple of weeks
where I have used lots of great 2Crafty chippies & I thought you might
like to take a quick peek at them too...

"Caution Cute Kid"

I also made a step by step video of how I created this layout
if you would like to check it out ...

Another boy layout I created was this one using the various
2Crafty chippies listed below.....
(I cut the chippie corner into two pieces and placed it end to end)
