Tons of Fun and Love - Stacey's August share

Hello!  Welcome to my August post!
I have 3 new layouts to share with you today, all featuring several pieces of
2 Crafty Chipboard.

I hope you enjoy my post today, grab a coffee, there are lots of details to take in!!

My first layout today is of myself and my big boy.

"Love You"

I have used the following 2 Crafty Chipboard pieces:
Valentine Branch
ATC Tiny Hearts
2014's
Film Strips - small
Love You
Winged Hearts
Valentine Theme Set
I covered the Winged Heart with some Gesso and then applied some
Shimmerz to the wings. I added a resin heart to the heart area and applied
Modelling Paste the edges to give it some texture.

This Love You loopy title would have to be one of my favourite pieces!  I have
covered the piece with the Shimmerz product Dimensionz in Pearly Gates (white).
It has given the title a puffy effect.
I then applied some Shimmerz mists to the word.  I layered the
Valentine Theme Set winged heart along with a ATC Tiny Heart on top of
each other with foam tape.  I also applied some Modelling Paste to the wings.

Here I cut the heart and bow from the Valentine Branch and placed it on the end
of the arrow.   I applied Inklingz in Beets Me to the heart and bow.   I also added an

ATC Tiny Heart below the arrow flat on the page.  I blended this in with mists.

I placed the 2014 under the frame here and applied I Gesso.

I have layered the small Film Strips under the photo with my flower cluster and cut
the second film strip and placed it at the top of the layout.  Using a dabber I applied
Gesso to these pieces.  Once all of my embellishments are in place I cover my photo
 and add sprays of Shimmerz.

Just another shot of all of those layers.

My second layout today is of my cheeky 3 year old.
I have opted for a pastel palette in this one.

"I Just Love This Kid"

I used the following 2 Crafty chipboard pieces to add to this cute layout:
Arrows Funky
I Just (heart) This Kid
Indian Feathers
Frames Tiny Funky

The title piece I just Love this Kid was perfect for this page.  I covered it  in Gesso
and then applied some Shimmerz Inklingz in I'm Not Limon and Gosh Garnet.
These 2 colours are gold based so the gold tones through the watercolour matched
the gold trims on the layout.

I have used 2 arrows out of the Arrows Funky pack.  I love to use flowers on my
boy pages but I think these arrows give it a boyish feel.  I have layered one in
with the bows and the other is to right of the page.  I have applied Gesso to both.

The funky arrow on the right, I have also blended into the background with the Shimmerz sprays.

I have tucked an Indian Feather under the floral cluster and added some
Shimmerz Inklingz in Sunkissed (the pretty peach colour).

Once again I have layered the Frame Tiny Funky into the photo mat.  I really like
the effect of the water colours on the chipboard pieces, here I have used the Gosh Garnet
Inklingz, it just adds a little shimmer and colour.

My third and last share today is something beachy (of course)!!  I have used the
blue tones and some lovely vellum, lots of flowers and a few shells to tie into the theme.
"Tons Of Fun"

I have used the following 2 Crafty Chipboard pieces on my layout:
Frame Louisa's
Pirate Set (Compass Rose)
Pirate Treasure (Anchor)
Word Circles set 2
Elegant Flourish
I applied Gesso to the Compass Rose out of the Pirate Set,  I added a small amount
of Shimmerz product Tickle Me Turquoise and added the crystal to the centre.

I have covered the anchor from the Pirate Treasure pack with royal blue chunky glitter.
I have also applied some of the same glitter to other areas of the layout to have it all fit together.

I added some more Gesso to the Tons of Fun title.  Simple, but it ties in with the white wash
effect of the layout.  I then layered it over my other embellishments and layers.

I added the Elegant Flourish into the flower cluster to give it more of a vine look.
When I covered my photo, I randomly sprayed around the embellishments with Shimmerz sprays.

I cut the Frame Louisa's in half.  Placing 1 side on the bottom of the floral arrangement.
The blue Shimmerz tones were added to it to blend into the background.
The other half of the Frame Louisa's was placed up the top under the vellum.

So using 2 Crafty Chipboards can be really simple!  Just a little Gesso and colour with whatever medium you may have :)

Have a wonderful day, thank you for visiting!!!
