June Inspiration By Di Garling
Three Layouts to Share

"#Hashtag Selfie"

Hi friends, thanks for stopping by. Today I have three layouts to share with you.
The first one is a pic of my good friend, Cherie & myself, clowning around & being
silly. The perfect "selfie"!!!

2 Crafty have an awesome new multi pack with a whole heap of  selfie words ,
this pack is called "Selfies Word Pack" and this is just one of them. I love it.

Here you can see another of their new release pieces,
"Word Circles Set #2".  They come with six different word
circles in a pack. Just the perfect accessory.
I have also added a couple of their "Chevrons", again
these come in a multi pack with lots of different sizes.

I have scattered some tiny hearts around my layout. These come from
the "ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars Pack". I have been putting these
on most of my layouts lately. They are just the perfect finishing touch.
They come on a sheet of about fifty plus pieces.

On the right side of my photo you may notice that arrow, it is actually
like a paper clip & it comes on a sheet with a whole heap of different
style arrows. This pack is called "Funky Arrow" pack.

All of the chipboard on this layout was simply just
 painted balck with acrylic paint.

"Loving These Moments"

2Crafty are a major sponsor over at "Scrap Around the World" challenge blog
this month & some of the 2Crafty design team girls are their guests .
This is their moodboard & we were each  asked to create a layout
 using this moodboard for inspiration.
This is my interpretation. The pic is my hubby & myself.

One of the new 2Crafty titles, "Loving These Moments".
I have actually cut it into three pieces. I have stuck  the word LOVING on my
photo. & I have placed the THESE & MOMENTS underneath the photo.
For my layout, it just worked better this way.

In this pic you can see this gorgeous "Lina's Swirl" which is another
newly released piece. 2Crafty do a mini release of 30 plus pieces,
every 6-8weeks or so, that way there is always something new to inspire.
I have simply tucked it in at the side of my photo.

I have also used some cut up pieces of their "Chicken Wire" to create some extra layers.

The last piece I have used here is another new piece, also
from the "Arrows-Funky Set". This sweet little heart chain
is totally adorable. It comes on a sheet with lots of different
styles of arrows.

Also on this layout I have again simply painted all the chippies black.
Because I am a lover of bright colours, using black chippies just works.
I hope you think so too!

"Our Sweet Girl"

This third layout is of my ADORABLE Grandaughter, Mia. I cannot believe
how this little munchkin has turned my heart into mush. I never thought it
 would happen, but it has.
She has been overseas for 6 weeks visiting her other Grandmother & I miss her
so much so I thought I would do a layout of her.
Thank goodness she will be home this week.

To start off with I have used one of the many 2Crafty titles,
"Our Sweet Girl". After applying a coat of gesso I gave it
a couple of coats of Glimmermist to get just the right colour.
I like to apply it with a brush instead of spraying it, this way
there is no wastage with over sprays.

In this pic you can see I have used one of their "2014" dates.
These come on a sheet of about nine pieces.
I coloured it the same way as I did to the title.

Next up I used a "Small Crazy Circle Panel". It is approximately
about 6"square & I love to cut these up. That way I generally get two layouts
our of one panel. For this piece I have heat embossed it in white.
I do love heat embossing chippies when I want to make them white
because it makes them really snow white, gives them a nice texture
as well as creates a sheen on them too.

Here you can see the chippie "Butterflies" . I have coloured them the same way
I coloured the title & when dry I added a little Stickles glitter.  Before sticking them
on my layout, I always bend the wings up a little to create some dimension,
then I just apply some glue only to the body. That way the wings stay sitting up.

My last item of chippies I have used are a few "Retro Flowers" tucked in
at the sides of my flower clusters. These were firstly given a coat of gesso,
followed by dabbing on a little ink sparingly.

Well thats all from me for another month.
Make sure you pop over to "Scrap Around the World" blog
and check it out & maybe join in the fun too.
