April Shares by Janice Nicholls

Hello and welcome to the 2Crafty blog.
Today I have 3 layout to share all featuring lots of fabulous 2Crafty chipboard pieces.

My 1st share is a layout of my son playing footy.
A special memory-playing in a winning grand final.
2Crafty had the perfect pieces for this layout.

 FOOTY

2Crafty Chipboard pieces I have used to create this layout:
"Footy"
"Footy Balls"
"Assorted Arrows"
"Chevron Bits"
"2013"

"FOOTY"....How cool is this big title for your pages.
I used the FOOTY word as a template and traced around it, adding a layer
to my background. The photo was printed onto an inkjet transparency
 and adhered to the page.
I used versa colour inks- Black and Scarlet  to colour the chipboard.
I layered Footy Balls to add some dimension. Both were inked with
versa colour ink and the top Footy was covered with dimensional magic
to give it a shiny look.
I used a white gel pen to highlight the laced areas.

Chevron Bits-coloured with Black versa colour ink
Footy Balls-coloured with Scarlet versa colour ink
2013- coloured with both black and scarlet inks.

Footy Balls
Chevron Bits

I have added some Arrows from the Assorted Arrows pack.
The story is on the back of the layout.
My 2nd layout.
Another football memory that had to be scrapped.
A very proud Mum moment and another perfect Chipboard title.
He was very happy to win a premiership and also a trophy at the end of year wind up.
My Little Champ

2Crafty Chipboard pieces I have used to create this layout
"My Little Champ"
"Chevron Bits"
"Negative piece from the Chevron Bits"
"Assorted Arrows"

I have cut up the negative piece from the Chevron Bits and used them as a
stencil to ink Chevron strips onto my layout.

I have used the  Arrows from the Assorted Arrows pack to draw attention to that special trophy.
They have been inked with Versa Colour Black ink and randomly stamped with a
Kaisercraft chevron stamp.
The White Arrows were coated with a layer of Tim Holtz Crackle paint.

I Love this Chippie title.
"My Little Champ"
The trophy piece was covered with Viva Inka-Gold-Old Gold.
The # and 1 were coloured with red pen.
The title was inked with Black versa Colour ink, high lighted with a white pen and  bits of  gold.
I used foam squares to adhere the title and layered it over
  the negative Chevron Bits.
Chevron Bits, Title and the negative piece from the Chevron Bits which was tucked under the photos.  Don't discard your negative pieces, they can be used as stencils or masks and also can be used to add layers to your pages.
My 3rd share for this month is a layout I have created for  the S365-5 Challenge over at CSI.
Case File No.S365-5.
Happy

2Crafty Chipboard pieces I have used to create this layout;
"happy-loopy font"
"Funky Heart"
"2013"
"Mixed Buttons"
"Chicken wire panel"

I have randomly cut out 2 pieces from the Chicken wire panel,
inked them black and layered them  at the side of my photo.

The Mixed Buttons packs are a favourite for me.
They are so versatile and can be altered in so many different ways.
I have used two different sizes...the larger  button I have inked with a kaisercraft stamp,
the small button, inked black and I have joined them together with thread.

2013-every page needs a date and this assorted pack of dates is awesome.
2Crafty now have a 2014 pack.

A button from the Mixed Button Pack...stamped, inked and tied together with thread.

Lots of favourites on this layout.
I really love 2craftys loopy font titles.....  "happy"
which has been simply inked black.

...and my little trade mark.......  a "Funky Heart"

Thank you so much for stopping by.
