My March Reveal by Nicole Doiron

I'm very excited about this reveal.
Every layout is soft and romantic with one thing in common,
besides amazing 2Crafty chipboard...
Each started with plain white cardstock as a background.

Beautiful Girls

If you've seen this month's mood board at
 Scrap Around the World,

You might have guessed  that this layout was inspired by it with all its pretty pink hues.
I was also inspired by the March sketch and journaling challenge at
 Once Upon A Sketch.

I covered some of the chipboard with just white paint while other chipboard pieces
like the  "Beautiful Girls" title were painted white and
then dabbed with different pink shades of Silk Glazes.

No girly layout is complete without a butterfly
and the "Graceful Butterfly" from 2Crafty is a beauty.

This pretty vine that I tucked beneath my flower cluster comes from the
"Leafy Shrub Set 2", definitely a favorite of mine.

The smaller frame from the "Square Leafy Frame Set"
with its fancy corners, was the perfect addition to my background.

Wonderful

Another white background, this time paired with some 'latte'.
This layout was inspired by the current White with 1 challenge.

After having done some stenciling and misting on my background,
I added a large "Cog Nested Frame" and the "Wonderful" title.

The "Frame Allegra", which I painted with Cinnamon colored silk glaze
and dabbed with white paint, looks very elegant, focusing in on this quote.

The "Soft Feathers" are simply irresistible and come in a pack of 5.
I used 3 of them on my layout.

On the left of my picture, I use one of the "Edgar Swirls"
to add a little more latte color to my layout.

Together

My last layout this month was one I had created for the
Scrap Around the World and Sketchabilities February challenges.

The "Together Loopy Font" title was painted with silk glazes
then dabbed with white paint to give it a marble look.

On these two "Leafy Shrub Set 1" pieces, I added gold paint and
gold microbeads for added texture.  I then covered each piece with white paint.

I did the same on the flourish piece from the "Flourish Adornment Set 5" as seen above.

Chevrons are so in right now and I found that the Chevron Bits would add nice shape
and color to my layout.  I dabbed several coats of white paint over the purple silk glaze
to try to give them an ombre effect.

And there you go!  I hope that you've enjoyed my March reveal!
