Christmas with Elena

Hello everyone!
First I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas.
It is such a magical time (although it is celebrated on January 7th in my country).

My first project is inspired by Christmas time

I used Vintage Frame Oval, primed with gesso, covered with beaded glass texture paste,
and then colored partly with mists and daubers.

Also I have included a small part of Shrub Set 1.

The Young Reindeer was gessoed and painted with Ink Stains.

For my Fine and Fancy Border
I used Ink Stains too and added some shimmery look with Blingz.

I also prepared some gifts for my friends. I made notebooks for them and
embellished the cover with flowers and chipboard.

I used Frame Madelines' Flourish
which I covered with Gold crackle paint and some brown sorbet.

My second cover has Cassie's Flourish,

it has been coloured with 3 different colours and mediums - gold, teal and white.
and my all time favorite frame Tiny Kathleen's,  coloured with the same technique.

and the third one is a tiny notebook using the ATC Georgian Frame.
I primed it heavily with gesso and then coloured slightly with Shimmerz Blingz.

My next projects was made for Shimmerz blog, featuring their paints and mediums,
it is Christmas Canvas.

These are my colours for Christmas,
they remind me about snow, frosty mornings and calm in nature.

I have cut out the ornaments from Christmas Scene Frame.
I primed it partly with gesso, then applied Dazzlerz ( a kind of smooth texture paste)
by Shimmerz and lined with Shimmerz black paint.

and Ornate Window Frame  with the same techniques.

I have also prepared a video tutorial on how I created this canvas and what treatment I
 gave the chipboard pieces.

Hope you enjoy celebrating with your family and thank you for stopping by today.
See you next year.
Elena
