All in Pastel- By Keren Tamir

"Remember to Follow your Dreams"

This is another layout  as GD this month for CSI along with 2 Crafty
who is sponsoring them.
I played along with this yummy pastel palette from CSI # 86

I used lots of 2 Crafty chipboards on this page. To frame my photo, I used
the Frame 2 Etched. After priming it with Gesso, I painted it peach colour
acrylic paint. While paint was still wet, I sprinkled clear embossing powder
on it and melted it with a heat gun. Next I stamped it in
brown archival ink with a swirl pattern.

On the picture above, you can see a little 2 Crafty Twiggy nest with eggs.
I painted the eggs in cream acrylic paint and the nest I dabbed with
Dry Sand Fluid chalk edger from Prima.

For the title, I used two words from the Friendship mini word pack.
I painted them in cream acrylic ink.

Finally, I used the Flourish adornment set 3 which I also painted in peach
coloured paint and stamped with brown archival ink.

"Any Direction"

This was my last layout for my GD at CSI. This is CSI #87. I used this cute
picture of my kids and called the layout "Any direction". I journalled about
how no matter which direction life takes them, I will always be by their side.

Below you can see the Frame Madeline's flourish peeking underneath
the photo. After it was primed with gesso, it was painted with
Shimmerz paint: green with envy.

I used the World Globe from the set. I simply primed it with gesso and then
dabbed it in some green and blue dazzlers.

In these two pictures you can see the two of the 6"clock face frames.
They were simply primed with gesso and left raw.

"Fairy"

I've used this beautiful photo of my daughter and created
a magical fairy garden around her.
I've created a video on how I made this layout, see below.

To create this garden, I used 2 different types of flourishes. The first one,
which is in the centre, and anchors the page, is called Angie's vines.
I primed it with gesso and then painted them in Razzle Dazzle berry
Shimmerz spray. The two other flourishes were painted in Shimmerz
Sunny side Up paint and they are called Cassie's flourishes.

I used lots of Prima flowers and embellishments to compliment the page.
I especially love the Ingvild Bolme Shabby Chic treasure Fairies as
they were perfect for this garden.

Although this video was made for the Shimmerz blog, I showed how to alter
 these 2 Crafty Chipboard flourishes.
This video shows my creative process on how I created this
Fairy layout from start to finish.

I hope you enjoyed my creations today!!
You can also find my work here.

Have a fabulous day!!!
