Mixed Media/ Grunge/ Distressed Themed Projects
by Heather

Hello and welcome scrappy friends,
2Crafty and CSI have joined forces to solve some case files .

My first layout is for case file #83
and because I am on both teams I am a double agent

I loved these colors and wanted to showcase the chippies
with a masculine /mixed media themed feel and look.

These colors have such a nautical energy to them and reminded
me of our many sailing adventures.

'UNFORGETTABLE'

I followed Em's sketch and added a thin strip of rich
rust fabric to the color theme .

Altered with gesso, ink and crackle paint .
I twisted the frayed fabric and machine stitched to the page.

My final layout for this month is also grunge, showcasing a pic I adore .

The chippies are inked with Tim Holtz distress ink /rusty hinge ,
and dabbed with turquoise Versa color ink when dry .
Finally I coated all chipboard with Tim Holtz crackle paint
to create an old rusty look and feel to the items.

Thanks to each of you for looking
at my work and hope you are inspired
by the fabulous artwork here on 2Crafty blog.
