Guest Designer - Jane Clark

Hi  everyone, Jane here with my first post and I must say
how delighted I am to be a Guest Designer for 2Crafty!
Wow what an honor, I just love all the designs and I'm always in
constant awe of the design teams amazing work!

My first card is very appropiate to how I feel, 'Thank You'!
I have covered three of the Autumn leaves with a few layers of
American Crafts embossing powders or you can use any coloured powders
you may have in your stash. I just love how much texture it gives
and these leaves are perfect! I always build up about three layers of
the powder then while my last application is still hot and in the molten stage,
I stamp my selected image on it using VersaMark ink. I let it sit for a minute then
lift the stamp off, the VersaMark ink makes the stamp release very easily.
You could even use a coloured pigment ink for a funky look!

The Large Leafy Vine in the background is coloured with a
complimenting green Copic marker, I think it gives a great
subtle amount of colour to the chipboard.

Pick stamps with small designs on them so they can be seen.
You don't need to have one that will cover your entire chipboard piece
as leaving some clean areas looks great too!

Thank you for looking, I hope I have inspired you a little to get your
 embossing powders out and experiment!
